Kona Wedding Planner ~ Ribbon Wedding Decor

After seeing so many creative uses of ribbons, we have been waiting for the right couple to come along that would really enjoy the very playful look of colored ribbons for their wedding decor! Shawn and Kristina and their three kids were the perfect fit! We had such a blast selecting the colors and crafting these custom ribbon creations (thanks to all my incredible girl friends who helped cut and tie the hundreds of stands!). Thank you Toby Hoogs Photography associates, Todd Bucyna and Renee Hoogs, for capturing the fun, sweetness and energy of this couple and their unique decor in these beautiful shots! www.tobyhoogs.com

Anne♥Eric ~A Perfect Cosmopolitan trio!

Anne and Eric decided to tie the knot on the beautiful shores of the Big Island because it is a place welcoming of many diverse cultures. Anne is French and Eric, American, and their beautiful daughter, well she is just a perfect mix of their two cultures speaking a little bit of both languages at just over 2 years old! I knew Anne, being the fashion savvy French woman that she is, would choose something chic and elegant  for her attire and she didn’t disappoint with her sharp Zac Posen dress and bright tangerine heels. I wanted to give them a little bit of an extra wow factor in their decor that would match their cosmopolitan style and these air plants were the perfect edgy element to take the beach decor to the next level. Congrats to a darling family!                                             –Rachael Halpern, Owner/Wedding Specialist

What a fabulous location for an intimate wedding! And they make a lovely family.

Bob♥Erin ~ Intimate Resort Wedding

Bob and Erin were such a charming and sweet couple and a genuine pleasure to work with! I knew from the start they would need a wedding location that would match their personalities: carefree, unassuming, glowing, and serene. This sweet little spot at a resort on the Kohala Coast was just right. Sometimes a resort is the perfect option and I am always available and happy to help any couple planning a big or small wedding find the perfect resort location for them and do my best to help them find the right match that meets all their wedding needs. I always stress to couples that just because you are planning a wedding at a resort, doesn’t mean you don’t need an outside professional wedding planner. I know the ins and outs of all the Big Island resorts and can save a couple hours upon hours of time tracking down the right match for them, figuring out pricing, and comparing all the options. Bob and Erin are the perfect example of how an outside planner can help you find the right resort, save you tons of time and even some money too!         -Rachael, Co-Owner/Wedding Specialist
